Workshop Facilitation

Before embarking on a project, programme or comprehensive piece of work, detailing everyone's requirements from day one is key so a workshop is the best approach.

Sometimes, detailing requirements is hard to achieve as each party can have their own agenda or intention that will detract from the real purpose of the workshop.

So how can you get beyond that stumbling block…….?

We offer a facilitation service where we are the 'Scribe'. We impartially chair the meeting and document the requirements which allows you to focus on thinking, being creative, analytical, delivering detail relevant to the workshop. We are also their to mediate (where necessary) so that the workshop does not come to an abrupt halt just because a number of people disagree, which does happen a great deal.

We charge a standard fee for the workshop (up to 8hours), the production of the output from the workshop, and a follow up meeting to present the output (up to two hours).

Mediaton

It is our business to understand. Because of our knowledge and background, we know that not all projects or programmes go to plan and can come to a standstill due to a conflict between two or more parties.

Some reasons:

Resource pressures / requirements          
Personality conflicts           
Budgetary restrictions           
Time constraints

If two or more parties are 'locking horns' then this is far from productive and can set the project, programme or piece of work back by weeks if not months which can then impact on team spirit, sales, time to market and ultimately the bottom line.

One of our Senior Consultants can mediate, listening and taking a pragmatic view on the situation offering guidance and an action plan.  Our HR Specialists work with public and private sector organisations of all sizes to understand, analyse and interpret the people implications and develop strategic plans and action based plans to support the achievement of business goals in terms of people resourcing, staff reward and staff development.
